Difference Between A Microlaserpeel And A Chemical Peel

Unlike a chemical peel, which applies a peeling solution to the skin and causes it to peel off a few days later, the MicroLaserPeel quickly vaporizes the skin's surface layer. Because the MicroLaserPeel is incredibly exact and the depth can be adjusted to a fraction of a millimeter, it produces superior results compared to the typical chemical peel. The MicroLaserPeel treatment is done in-office and may be adjusted to your unique skin issues and desired outcome.

What Happens During The Procedure?

The area to be treated will be cleaned before your MicroLaserPeel, and we will take photographs to track your progress. Next, we apply numbing lotion to the region that will be treated with a MicroLaserPeel, which will remain in place for about 15 minutes. The numbing cream is removed, and the region is thoroughly cleansed using specialized treatments. Prior to the treatment, we will provide eye protection to ensure your safety. Throughout the MicroLaserPeel treatment, we will use cool air to keep you comfortable. You may experience a sensation of heat or mild scratching on your skin during the procedure. After the treatment, we will remove your eye protection, cleanse your skin, and apply aftercare treatments.

You can see results gradually over time. We recommend a series of six MicroLaserPeels, scheduled every four to six weeks. Following this, a single maintenance session is suggested every three months.

This service will be performed at the West Point Aesthetic Center in Fontana. Patients must be in overall good health. Patients cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to become pregnant. Patients should not have used Accutane within the last 12 months. New patients must complete medical history paperwork and have a consultation (which may be done on the day of treatment). Patients must sign a consent form for each treatment.
